FDA: Pet food tainting might be intentional

Plastics chemical can make feed appear more protein-rich

Returned cans of pet food fill a shopping cart at Petco in Miami last month. Federal officials are investigating the possibility that the contamination with a plastics chemical was deliberate.

WASHINGTON - Imported ingredients used in recalled pet food may have been intentionally spiked with an industrial chemical to boost their apparent protein content, federal health officials suspect.

That’s one theory being pursued by the Food and Drug Administration as it investigates how the chemical, melamine, contaminated at least two ingredients used to make more than 100 brands of dog and cat foods.

In California, state agriculture officials placed a hog farm under quarantine after melamine was found in pig urine there. Additional testing was under way to determine whether the chemical was present in the meat produced by American Hog Farm in Ceres since April 3, the state Department of Food and Agriculture said.

Daniel Rogan, 12, holds a photo of his first kitten, 9-month-old Snowball, as he sits in his home with his father Rock and Janet Rogan in Mansfield, Mass. The kitten suffered kidney failure and was euthanized after eating tainted pet food last month, according to the family.

So far, melamine’s been found in both wheat gluten and rice protein concentrate imported from China. Media reports from South Africa, where 30 dogs died, suggest a third pet food ingredient, corn gluten, used in that country also was contaminated with melamine. That tainted ingredient has not been found in the United States, the FDA said.

FDA investigators were awaiting visas that would allow them to visit the Chinese plants where the vegetable protein ingredients were produced.

Heading to China

“Melamine was found in all three of those — it would certainly lend credibility to the theory that it may be intentional. That will be one of the theories we will pursue when we get into the plants in China,” Stephen Sundlof, the FDA’s chief veterinarian, told reporters.

Chinese authorities have told the FDA that the wheat gluten was an industrial product not meant for pet food, Sundlof said. Still, melamine can skew test results to make a product appear more protein-rich than it really is, he added. That raises the possibility the contamination was deliberate.

“What we expect to do with our inspections in China will answer some of those questions,” said Michael Rogers, director of the division of field investigations within the FDA’s office of regulatory affairs.

Wilbur-Ellis Co., the U.S. importer of the tainted rice protein, said Thursday it was recalling all the ingredient it had distributed to five U.S. pet food manufacturers. The San Francisco company in turn urged its customers to recall any products that may be on store shelves.

So far, three of those companies have done so: Natural Balance Pet Foods, Blue Buffalo Co. and Royal Canin USA.

Natural Balance, of Pacoima, Calif., announced a limited recall Monday of its Venison and Brown Rice canned and bagged dog foods, Venison and Brown Rice dog treats and Venison and Green Pea dry cat food.

On Friday, Royal Canin USA said it was recalling some of its dry dog and cat foods made with tainted rice protein concentrate.

FDA officials would not release the names of the other manufacturers that Wilbur-Ellis supplied, citing its ongoing investigation.

The FDA could not provide updated numbers of pet deaths or injuries due to the contaminated pet food. The agency has received more than 15,000 calls since the first recall was announced more than a month ago.

Diverted to hog feed

The FDA and Agriculture Department also were investigating whether some pet food made by one of the five companies supplied by Wilbur-Ellis was diverted for use as hog feed after it was found unsuitable for pet consumption.

“We understand it did make it into some hog feed and we are following up on that as well,” Sundlof said.

It is amazing to observe the love affair people in America, especially Whites and some Blacks who have “assimilated”, have with their pets.  There is absolutely nothing wrong with loving your cat or dog but to esteem them higher than certain members of the human family is insane.  Usually its dogs and cats but it could just as easily be a hamster or some other rodent they have tailored some clothing to fit and attached to a leash or simply cuddled in their arms as they would a child.

I wish to make two points with regards to this article.

  1. Far more attention has been given to the deaths of pets because of possible food poisoning than to Bayer’s Corporate officials selling what they knew was HIV tainted Aspirins several years ago.  Humans died as a result of this.
  2. China may be the target of economic terrorism with the American media being used as the tool.

Intentional Poisoning of Humans

Watch this video and concentrate on what you are hearing.  Then watch it a second time.  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XS3mhjt7TrY

Do you understand the extreme seriousness of an American government and the rest of the American media simply sweeping the intentional poisoning of thousands of people with HIV into the closet?  Yet we have all of this attention about a few pets that, reportedly, died from eating their food.

The Art of Demoralizing

Just prior to or at least at about the same time of the pet food scandal, many American media sources targeted Chinese restaurants for “unhealthy” foods.  The “Right Wing” blogs were the first to promote the China connection to the “new children” of White America, their pets. This was just before the Bush Administration announced that it would also be filing complaints against China with the WTO (World Trade Organization) regarding copyrights and more.  Imagine what news headlines do to Chinese restaurants when the headlines contain the words, “Chinese Food” and “Unhealthy”.  Certainly, all Chinese restaurants would be concerned and hope there isn’t a quick drop in customers but more than likely would see a loss of customers.  The headlines were not reading “Asian Food” or “Vietnamese Food”, or “Thai Food”.  China was the specific target and specifically the Chinese community and business in America.  It was a cultural affront, a calculated attack through economics against the drawing card which brings millions of people into the Chinatowns or the more “Asiatic” inclusive names such as “International Districts”.  That drawing card is the food.  What you see below with 856,000 hits is a small fraction of what was a planned government paid agenda targeting China by putting the squeeze on its cream in America, its food:

It is quite obvious to me as to what is happening here.  The American government is attempting to make the case that if they connect China to your dog or cat dying as a result of what they ate, the next leap is what you or I eat that is Chinese.

The question is what is related to this and what is the cause, the stimulant that might bring about such actions at a coordinated national level?  What is the intended objective?

Above, I presented a cross-section of major American media sources all trumpeting the same message at the same time.  From some “consumer group”………. Center for Science in the Public Interest, hmmmm….. that sound so trusting, doesn’t it?   “Black funds” which are not accountable to any legislative body can do a lot in shaping public opinion and changing fiction to truth.  There are some who can see through the smoke screens and most who cannot.

Sudan and China

In past CART Analysis, I have shared some extensive information regarding Sudan.  Sudan has a huge abundance of oil & gas, gold and other precious minerals.  Sudan also has a very strong partnership with China and military coordination.  Most of the information I have shared contradicts the multi-million dollar ads being shown on television about Darfur, as if Darfur is a country in Africa.  In fact, Darfur is a region within the country of Sudan on the African continent.  To demonstrate the subliminal control that corporate America is perpetrating on the American population, notice those ads repeat the name Darfur, not Sudan.  The intent is to get you to think there is a country called Darfur.  The next thoughts would be:

  1. What is Sudan doing to Darfur, the equivalent of, what is the United States doing to Texas.
  2. What is “Islamist” Sudan doing to “Black” Darfur.
  3. What is “Arab” Sudan doing to “Christian” Darfur.

As has been stated in previous CART Analysis, Sudan is 97% Muslim, i.e., Islamist.  This includes the southern region of Darfur.  The fighting has been and continues to be between Black Africans.

Those ads are also promoted and funded by American churches with their “unholy” alliance with Wall Street thugs, investment bankers and brokers.  Very few Blacks, even the highly educated PhD Bo Bo’s, do not know that many White churches have shareholders and the church members hold shares in oil and other commodities through American, European, and Canadian corporations doing business throughout Africa.  Their commercials on television have little to nothing to do with “Jesus” but much to do with profiteering in the name of “Jesus” behind the guise of bringing Christianity with the carrot being humanitarianism.

Below is the evidence of what “missionaries” are really after on the continent of Africa.  In the past, I shared information about the Reverend Pat Robertson of the 700 Club and his Freedom Gold Corporation.  He was a part of the Blood Diamond frenzy and supporter of Charles Taylor of Liberia because of the financial benefits he would receive in the acquirement of gold and diamonds.  Charles Taylor, former ruler of Liberia, is now imprisoned awaiting trial in the Hague.

Canadian Churches' Shareholder Proposal to Talisman

Eleven churches and religious orders from Canada and the United States have submitted a shareholder proposal to Talisman Energy. The proposal asks the Board of Directors of Talisman to assure shareholders that the company will not materially aid the Sudanese government in its civil war in that country, nor in its repeated violations of internationally accepted standards of human rights.”…….

In particular, because our Company's financial success rests on oil wells and a pipeline under construction amidst a civil war, it depends on the Sudanese military to protect its

investment. Security arrangements for oil development reportedly involve forced removal of people living where development is occurring. Reports received by church shareholders from partner organizations in the region vary significantly from Talisman's descriptions….

These multi-million dollar ads castigating Sudan’s government, displayed on various television stations, encourages the Bush Administration to deploy the military into Sudan, to overthrow Sudan’s leader, President al-Bashir. They encourage “regime change”.  That should sound familiar because that is what the drumbeat became in Iraq following the American and British invasion.  Today, the Senate of the State of Vermont voted unanimously that President Bush and Vice President Cheney should be impeached.  This reflects the hell on earth he has created in Iraq and clearly shows the incompetence of their leadership.

The fact is that America plans to makeup for the oil shortfall from the Middle East by acquiring more from the continent of Africa.

When US President George W. Bush said he wanted to reduce America’s dependence on Middle East oil by 75 per cent, he put forth ideas about alternative fuels such as ethanol and biomass. But these form just one branch of the alternatives.

US energy officials believe that diversifying the number of sources from which the world’s biggest energy consumer gets its oil and natural gas is the best way of ensuring reliable supply……..

The reduction of 75 percent or whatever it actually is or will become is not by choice but because the Middle East is increasingly refusing to do business with American and Western European oil companies.  Instead, China, India and other Asian countries are first in line for long-term oil contracts.

The Bush Administration is putting pressure on China, attempting to bully it into backing off in Africa and more immediately, with regards to Sudan.
